Carnival Cruise line announced the itineraries for their much-anticipated upcoming ship, Mardi Gras — the opportunity to book is now available.

There will be a variety of sailing packages between 6 and 15 days, visiting destinations in Europe and the Caribbean as soon as summer 2020.

Passengers will have the choice from over 20 cabin categories, including some with special perks and theming like Havana Cabanas, Family Harbor staterooms, and Cloud 9 Spa cabins.

Carnival Mardi Gras will be a 5,200-passenger ship, and the largest vessel in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet.

It will feature the very first roller coaster at sea!

Take a look at the Mardi Gras inaugural season schedule:

  • A nine-day maiden voyage from Copenhagen to Southampton August 31 – September 9, 2020 calling at Kiel (Hamburg), Germany; Gothenburg, Sweden; Oslo, Norway; Rotterdam, The Netherlands; Zeebrugge (Brussels), Belgium; and Le Havre (Paris), France.
  • A 14-day transatlantic crossing from Southampton to New York September 9-23, 2020, with stops at Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain; and Funchal (Madeira) and Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal.
  • A six-day cruise round-trip from New York to Portland, Maine and Saint John, New Brunswick September 24-30.
  • A six-day cruise round-trip from New York to Portland, Maine and Saint John, New Brunswick September 24-30.
  • A 15-day Carnival Journeys voyage departing New York September 30, 2020 and arriving in Port Canaveral, Florida, on Oct. 15, 2020, calling at Amber Cove, San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Aruba, Curacao, and Grand Turk, positioning the vessel for year-round voyages to the Caribbean.

Following a special eight-day Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral on October 16, 2020, Mardi Gras will kick off its year-round seven-day program on October 24, offering two different three-port, seven-day itineraries.

The routes will alternate weekly to the eastern and western Caribbean. The eastern cruises will visit San Juan, Amber Cove, and Grand Turk. The western sailings will stop in Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany Bay in Honduras.
